Buller Air Zone
Buller Air Zone is a year-round attraction and Olympic training facility operated by Resort Management. Situated in the sports hall, Alpine Central, the facility opened in 2018 and caters to kids, adults, elite athletes, and the general public alike. Features include Olympic size trampolines, airbag challenge, rock climbing wall, and an inflatable bouldering wall.
Snow Play Parks
There’s two snow play parks on Mt Buller and one on Mt Stirling, operational during the declared snow season when conditions permit. Snow play and tobogganing is an extremely valuable offering to the resorts’ family and first timer markets, introducing snow-based activity in a safe and fun environment.
Mt Buller’s snow play parks have been significantly upgraded in recent years.
In 2022, the Resort Management changed the model for tobogganing at Mt Buller by moving to “pay-to-slide” model, where complimentary toboggans are provided within the two toboggan parks, right where they can be used - just like in a water park. This model was adopted after a lengthy consultation period with stakeholders and careful consideration by the Resort Management.
People with a valid Mt Buller lift pass will be able to use the toboggan parks free of charge, subject to park capacity limits. Tobogganing will continue to be banned outside the two toboggan parks, and visitors will not be able to carry toboggans on any form of resort transport to further reduce the chances of issues in the ski area.
There are no changes to the tobogganing arrangements at Mt Stirling.
